CERF+ (Craft Emergency Relief Fund + Artists' Emergency Resources) was recognized for its preparedness work with artists and arts organizations with two honorable mentions in the categories of Innovative Training and Education Programs and Promising Partnerships for FEMA’s Individual and Community Preparedness Awards. Annually the awards, previously known as the Citizen Corps Achievement Awards, recognize the innovative practices and achievements of organizations and individuals that work to make our communities safer, stronger, and better prepared to manage any emergency situation.
