Educational Programs
Since 2010, CERF+ has been developing training opportunities and teaching tools on artists’ emergency planning and business insurance. Our programs are designed to help arts professionals—program staff and administrators, consultants, teaching artists and faculty—incorporate these topics in professional practice and professional development programs, technical assistance and counseling activities for artists. CERF+’s Studio Protector wall and online guides are used as key reference materials.
CERF+ staff presents “train the trainer” webinars and are also available to plan/present live workshops at conferences, meetings, and gatherings. In conjunction with the sponsoring group, we can organize sessions lasting from one to three hours. To complement presentations by CERF+ program staff, we recommend inclusion as speakers local artists who have experienced emergencies and local insurance experts familiar with arts coverage. Contact programs@craftemergency.org if you would like to present/sponsor a training program.
