Artists’ Career Resources

CERF+ is committed to keeping the craft field strong by keeping professional craft artists at work. Good business practices contribute to the likelihood of rebounding from setbacks, whether due to minor mishaps or major emergencies.

CERF+ produces live conference presentations and articles on insurance and other topics that help artists strengthen their business practices. Many of these articles appear in CERF+’s newsletter reproduced on this site.

Listings of other professional resources from CERF+ and other sources can be found in the listings in this section:

Note: Only the top resources that the CERF+ staff feels will be of value to craft artists are included in these listings. Resource items are ranked by CERF+ staff for relative value as a resource to craft artists. Links are further sorted so arts-specific information precedes more general information; nonprofit and government information precedes that from commercial sources. If you have a resource you would like to recommend for these pages, please submit the link to resources@craftemergency.org with a brief description and why you feel it would be a useful resource for craft artists.
